We selected Seal Beach for Kassi’s new line of beachwear. Because, well, where else should beachwear be photographed?
We photographed Kassi’s beachwear and her headshots in the amazing Seal Beach, in southern california.

Erika is a model/makeup artist/tattooist and now photographer. We shot near an abandoned shack in Long Beach. The unkempt treeline helped make for some very dramatic lighting.

Erika is a make up artist. A very good one at that.
One day on a shoot, her model didn’t show and that particular photographer asked her to do modeling instead. That single action opened up a new world for our friend Erika.
Erika’s currently in cosmetology school but also works in a tattoo shop in orange county. As if’ this girl isn’t busy enough, she’s decided to get a camera!
To get her to loosen up, I used my trusty model/photographer distraction tool.- My classic Polaroid Land Camera.
We shot near an abandoned shack in Long Beach. The textured background and the unkempt trees surrounding the structure made for some dramatic lighting.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my blog! Please stick around and check out my other work!

Took a rainyday trip to Disneyland and finished the day off at the new Porto’s Cafe & Bakery in Downey.
Rainy days are just my favorite, to me it’s the only thing that Southern California really misses. That and snow (but that’s for another day)
I’ve been editing all weekend and it was time for me to get out and get some fresh air.
This incredibly wet weekend provided a great opportunity to get some people watching photos at Disneyland!
As I walked and walked around the park I realized how creepy the Disney employees are in their yellow rain coats.
After Disneyland, We took a trip down to the new Downey Porto’s Bakery & Cafe in Downey. I got to taste some of their delicious treats for the first time.
They had great customer service, who was willing to comply with my newbiness and walked with us through their extremely long line-up of delectable pastries. My favorite of for the day was the Guava Cheese Rolls (sorry no photo, it was gone too fast!)
The weather may be frightful to some. But I enjoyed my day very much. Hopefully this was interesting enough to keep you here!
